Winery Notes
The Zolo winery was founded by Patricia Ortiz, one of Argentina’s leading women in wine. Zolo under Patricia’s leadership stays true to her vision of creating wines with elegance and identity, yet approachable and friendly. The winery is located at the foothills of the Andes in Argentina’s premier region, Lujan de Cuyo and all the grapes come from 100% estate-grown fruit. The wines are concentrated and balanced, true to their terroir. The name Zolo is a tribute to Patricia’s husband, who was often left “solo zolo” while Patricia was working at the winery. Patricia has a strong belief in sustainable practices because it is our responsibility to meet the needs of today without compromising the future. In addition to her wines following sustainable practices at all levels, she also gives back to her community in many ways from supporting education through scholarships and funding, to raising llamas to provide wool for local women weavers.
Tasting Notes
Aromas and flavors of ripe plum are assembled with cassis and black pepper. The oak barrels provide aromas of roasted coffee bean and dark chocolate with plum jam. Long finish on the palate.
Product Type | Red Wine |
Varietal | Cabernet Sauvignon |
ABV | 13.9% |
