Saturday 3rd April 2021 marked 60 years since Dennis Malcolm OBE, started out on his career in whisky at The Glen Grant distillery.

To celebrate this auspicious occasion, Dennis journeyed into the 180-year-old warehouse – built by The Glen Grant founders John and James Grant in 1845 – to perform the ritual of gently hand-drawing the first dram of Glen Grant 60 Years Old from Cask No. 5040.

This was a significant step in bringing The Glen Grant Dennis Malcolm 60th Anniversary Edition Aged 60 Years to the world with just 360 bottles.

To celebrate The Glen Grant Dennis Malcolm 60th Anniversary Edition Aged 60 Years, an exquisite and bespoke crystal decanter, inspired by the distinguished, tall slender copper stills and unique water cooling purifiers that are the pride of the Glen Grant distillery, was created. This traditional hand-blown crystal glass decanter was designed by the world-renowned Glencairn studio.

The decanter is encased in this luxurious handcrafted walnut presentation case with a finely detailed geometric pattern inspired by our unique distillation process. The gift box is completed with a satin-finished metal plaque to commemorate this rare expression.
