Notes of Scent & Flavor

  • Color

    Light Amber
  • Nose

Sweet and honey are immediately apparent in the aroma. Hints of coconut and candy appear when water is added with butterscotch and licorice subtly in the background.
  • Palate

The taste is crisp and malty with a slight nuttiness. With time the malt begins to open and the Arran hallmarks of citrus and sweet fruit emerge to coat the tongue.
  • Finish

Clean and fresh with a lingering creamy sweetness. Mellow, smooth and bursting with flavor.

"It is without a doubt a 'must have' in the collection of all Single Malt Whisky enthusiasts."

Origins

The Isle of Arran distillery, nestled in the foothills of the village of Lochranza on the north-west tip of Arran, remains the only whisky producer on the island. The water source, Loch na Davie, is known as one of the purest in Scotland. The unique micro climate on the island contributes to the rapid maturation of Arran whisky. The whisky has no artificial coloring and is not chill-filtered.
