The nose leads with malt. Nilla wafer cookies and pear drop candies underneath. It's all rounded out with a mature character, like old books.
The palate is all fruity deliciousness. You get pears and bananas. Jujifruit candy. Fruit pop popsicles. And then a slight oakiness.
On the finish, the influence of the 1st use hogshead grows. You have the wood becoming more present, along with a cabinet's-worth of sweet and savory spices. Malt suddenly reappears. Then it evolves and morphs a long while among these notes and more.
