The perfect Cognac for cocktails
I was pleasantly surprised at how well balanced this cognac is. Notes of apricot, delicate vanilla, and pears topped with caramelized brown sugar shine through and make this perfect for a refreshing cocktail with a hint of citrus and Bitters. Because I live in a state where liquor is regulated, I feel Rémy Martin VSOP, was a bit on the costly side; however, the liquor tastes like it cost way more than it does.

I don't usually drink cognac but when I do it is always Remy Martin. The cooler is a golden red amber and the smell is similar to notes of vanilla due to the maturation process in French Limousin oak casks. Notes of ripe apricot, baked apple and an elegant floral aroma. The body is wonderfully structured, with multiple layers. Body has the roundness of ripe fruit with a silky texture. Grey cognac for first timers and classy sippers.
