Smooth and aromatic
This cognac is so smooth and bold at the same time. When drinking neat it is a little bitter but it may just be an acquired taste. The bottle itself is presented very well and would be amazing as a gift as it looks very sleek and sexy. It was also very affordable compared to other cognac bottles in the case. I am writing this review as I have an incentive to do so but otherwise it is still an item I'd purchase regardless because it is a classic.

The perfect Cognac for cocktails
I was pleasantly surprised at how well balanced this cognac is. Notes of apricot, delicate vanilla, and pears topped with caramelized brown sugar shine through and make this perfect for a refreshing cocktail with a hint of citrus and Bitters. Because I live in a state where liquor is regulated, I feel Rémy Martin VSOP, was a bit on the costly side; however, the liquor tastes like it cost way more than it does.
