      This year’s Special Releases Collection unlocks the hidden stories from each of the iconic distilleries and brings them to life via fictional mythical creatures which tie into the brand’s heritage. This deep-hued malt offers dark, pungent wine-woody aromas with peaty smoke, curled around baked figs. At first the palette detects a smooth sweetness, then salt and pepper provide a savory, smoke-wreathed intensity. The rich first fill Pedro Ximenez/Oloroso seasoned casks produce a sweet and sumptuous finish. This special whisky is best enjoyed neat or with a little water.
