Jura 12 Year Old is the latest addition to the Jura portfolio. It is matured in American White Oak ex-bourbon barrels for 12 years and finished in Oloroso Sherry casks from Jerez, Spain.

Reshaping metals into beautiful new forms is no easy task. As crafters of subtly smoky, sweet whiskies, we understand that hand making something unforgettable takes time. About 12 years, in our experience.

Origins

Jura is a tiny island off the west coast of Scotland. The distillery originally opened in 1810 and has been the lifeblood of the community to this day. Today, Jura is home to 212 people, 6,000 deer, one road, one pub, and one whisky distillery. Whisky is the island’s major export and this singular focus combined with a unique split distillation process makes an extraordinary single malt like no other.
