First and foremost, this does not pour like an over-proofed bourbon, which may happen when you venture into those higher-proofed picks; it is balanced and flavorful, with a wonderful finish. I enjoyed a blend of flavors on the nose that reminded me of a cinnamon sugar cookie with a touch of cherry. As you sip on this selection, you may find baking spices leaning into cinnamon and cloves, vanilla, with a subtle nuttiness. The finish expounds on that nuttiness with oak and caramel.
