Copain Wines 'Tous Ensemble' Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
Beyond the Label
Winery NotesThe Tous Ensemble comes from the French word meaning “all together.” Copain's Tous Ensemble collection creates approachable wines that are perfect for every occasion, every palate, and every day of the week. The Tous Ensemble Pinot Noir stays true to Copain’s philosophy of producing wines that emulate the French style of winemaking (lower alcohol, higher acid wines), vineyards are picked on the early side. This resulted in juice with lower sugar levels. This red wine presents ripe fruit flavors with a silky texture and lingering finish.
Tasting NotesThis red wine presents aromas of rose petals, plum, and fresh raspberries. The palate is infused with ripe cherry and orange peel flavors, with a silky texture and lingering finish.
Vintage Notes
Vineyard NotesCopain, meaning ‘friend’ or ‘buddy’ in French, embodies our philosophy that wine enhances the good things in life, and is an experience best shared with friends and family. Perched on a hillside overlooking the bucolic Russian River Valley, Copain specializes in vineyard designate Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Syrah. Founded in 1999, Copain has built a reputation of producing food friendly, balanced and expressive wines in the ‘light-and-bright’ style. Sourced from sustainable vineyard sites in Anderson Valley, Mendocino County and Monterey County, the portfolio consists of three distinct collections—the Tous Ensemble wines, the Les Voisins wines, and the single vineyard designate wines. Our style has long been inspired by the restrained and elegant wines of France’s Rhône Valley. The grapes are picked early to impart vibrant acidity and the wine undergoes minimum manipulation in the cellar. Coaxing lively, energetic wines with bright, fresh flavors has become Copain’s signature.
