“This goes from zero to 60 right out of the gate, with an intense spine of acidity driving tightly meshed flavors of crushed black currant, ground coffee, candied grapefruit peel and toasted almond." - Alison Napjus, Wine Spectator
The generous, complex bouquet opens with apricot, almond, floral and hazelnut notes; honey and brioche follow, intertwining in a symphony of aromas.
Pinot Noir, the backbone of all Bollinger champagnes, adds muscle and dimension. This wine will continue to reveal itself over time.
Weighty, concentrated palate with surprisingly bright acidity; unbelievable freshness and lush silk notes lead to a chalky finish.
The ultimate food pairing Champagne to make any meal shine.
