      Beyond the Label

      This is a true limited edition of our world class Black Whiskey. Barrels are hand selected by our master sommelier Daiana Paola Milon Mayer. Each barrel is special, and offers a unique expression of our Andean Black Corn Whiskey.

      The copper-hued liquid touts a mashbill that will feel familiar to fans of wheated bourbons: 60% corn, 30% malted wheat, and 10% Malted Barley.

      Tasting Notes

      Appearance

      Dark amber, caramel, bright and clean. Crystal clear with intense tears.

      Nose

      Slightly smoky edge. Not one of peat, but more of a roasted, barbecue-like variety that works well with the flavors of fall and the strong vanilla notes.

      Palate

      Spicy and sweet on the palate, with tropical fruit notes and vanilla caramel finish. Complexity is realized beyond the mid-palate as a combination of clove and dark roasted coffee come out to play. A pronounced creaminess to the mouthfeel ensures these finishing notes are drawn out slowly.

      Black Whiskey Old Fashioned

      Ingredients
      45ml Black Whiskey
      15ml Cognac
      15ml Lemon Juice
      22ml Green Tea Syrup
      30ml Pear Juice
      1 Dash Chocolate Bitters
      Steps
      1 Combine the green tea simple syrup, bitters lemon juice and pear juice with a splash of water in an old-fashioned glass.
      2 Muddle well, add Black Whiskey and congac and stir.
      3 Add a twist of orange peel and ice cubes.
      4 Add slices of orange and and stop with a cherry.
