It has a drier flavor profile than most golden rums, and its exceptional character makes it great for cocktails - but also delicious to sip.

FinishMedium in length; with a little water added, the rum opens up and the tropical finish persists.

On return, the painstaking business of blending began; rum was mixed with rum until finally an extraordinay spirit was born: BANKS 5 Island Blend, shortly followed by its golden companion, BANKS 7 Golden Blend.

|25 oz.||English Breakfast Tea|
|6 oz.||Lemon Juice|
|1 tsp||Orange Bitters|
- Brew the tea, then stir in the sugar until it dissolves.
- Add 4 cups of ice to chill and dilute the mixture.
- Add lemon juice, bitters and rum. Chill until service if needed.
- Add all ingredients to a punch bowl filled with one large block of ice.
- Garnish with grated nutmeg.
