ABV | 43% |
Dietary | Gluten Free |
Age | 8 year |
Country | Jamaica |
Awards | Ultimate Spirits Challenge 2020, 97 Points |
Appleton Estate Reserve Blend is full-bodied, smooth, and delicately balanced. Starting with spice and nutty notes, followed by oaky honey, subtle vanilla, and a hint of hazelnut – all wrapped in rich, dried orange peel. It’s reminiscent of a spicy fruit cake.
Appleton Estate harvests our own Estate-grown sugar cane, sources water from our own limestone spring and meticulously manages our own ownership of each step in the fermentation, distillation, blending and ageing process, putting us in control from "cane to cup." The Reserve Blend is an aromatic blend of 20 rums, with two from very rare "reserve stock" that are consistently managed by Joy Spence and her team.
2 parts | Appleton Estate Reserve Blend |
1 part | Lime Juice |
.75 part | Simple Syrup |
1 | Combine ingredients in a shaker tin. |
2 | Add ice and shake. |
3 | Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a lime wedge. |
