      Beyond the Label


      Gran Patrón Burdeos is a luxury añejo tequila crafted in very limited quantities from only the highest-quality 100 percent Weber Blue Agave. It’s twice distilled and aged in used American and New French oak barrels, before it is finished in vintage Bordeaux wine barrels (“Burdeos” is Spanish for “Bordeaux”). This unique aging process imparts an elegant dark amber color and a taste that’s velvety smooth with hints of vanilla and raisins.

      Everything about the experience of drinking a Gran Patrón Tequila is luxurious – from the design and feel of the hand-polished bottles to the beautiful weighted stoppers that top them. And of course, the tequila inside. Gran Patrón Burdeos should be sipped in a room temperature tequila snifter, any time it’s offered.

      Burdeos Old Fashioned

      Ingredients
      2 oz Gran Patrón Burdeos
      2 Dashes Dashes Angostura bitters
      2 Orange zests, one for garnish
      Steps
      1 Express one orange zest into a double old fashioned glass.
      2 Combine Gran Patrón Burdeos, sugar and bitters in the glass.
      3 Add large chunks of ice and stir ten revolutions to chill.
      4 Express a second orange zest over the surface of the drink and garnish with the peel.
