Mexico City Extra Dry Gin. A beautifully balanced and aromatic expression of palo santo, Mexican white sage, jasmine and nine other botanicals sourced from Mexico. Ingredients are inspired by traditional healer (curandera) rituals including resins believed to expand consciousness, flowers to attract love and herbs to ward off negative energies.
Palo santo, a fragrant wood that has been used for medicinal purposes and in purification rituals for centuries. Traditionally considered a deeply sacred and spiritual tree which possesses a cleansing energy. It is macerated and distilled separately and added to the final distillate based on its naturally variable potency. With similar compounds to citrus, it imbues a uniquely resinous, earthy and meditative quality to the gin.
Mexican white sage, Curandera healers often burn sage in their practice to cleanse the body and surrounding environment of negative energies. In this expression the Mexican white sage balances the resinous notes of the palo santo with a herbaceous, almost savoury flavor with hints of bright peppermint.
Jasmine, The beautifully aromatic notes of jasmine, working together with Mexican lime and orange burst through the woody, earthen elements to give an uplifting, blanced finish.
