The Glenlivet 25 Year Old expression is created by selectively finishing whisky across first-fill Pedro Ximenez Sherry and Troncais Oak Cognac casks. These prestigious casks bring indulgent richness to the iconic smooth and fruity house style of The Glenlivet. On the nose, chocolate ganache, plum jam and Manuka honey give way to fresh lemon zest, toasted cinnamon and orange blossom. On the palate, enticing notes of sweet fig and blood orange deriving from the Sherry influence are complemented by the Cognac cask's warming notes of ginger, toasted oak and a hint of charred pineapple. The finish of this expression is incredibly long, sweet and with gentle spice notes.
