Truly unique, and steeped in history, El Tesoro is one of the last known tequilas to fully embrace the traditional tequila making process. A tequila crafted with knowledge passed down through centuries and infused with the passion of its makers, El Tesoro honors Don Felipe Camarena, the man who established La Altena Distillery in 1937. El Tesoro Anejo is pale gold in color and delivers aromas of orange zest, caramel and rye grain. With Flavor notes of orange zest and rye, unfolding into oak, spice and pipe tobacco.
Crystal clear and exceptionally smooth, El Tesoro Platinum Tequila is bottled, undiluted, within 24 hours of distillation, capturing the freshest agave taste. Carrying sweet brine and citrus aromas, each smooth sip carries salt and citrus again to the palate, along with sweet agave, lime, and olive notes. A blend of five-year-old and selected blanco tequilas, El Tesoro Paradiso Tequila develops its unique character from additional maturation in French cognac barrels originally used by A. de Fussigny Cognac.
With an earthy aroma of oak and agave, this golden tequila carries notes of spice, fruit and caramel. El Tesoro Reposado Tequila is an aged tequila distilled in the most traditional way possible for true agave Flavor. Pale gold in color, this 9 to 11 month aged tequila has a mellow and rich mouthfeel, smooth with subtle, smoky oak and light agave notes. Accented with, but not overpowered by the oak, it gives way to a vegetal light pepper and citrus finish. .
