This year's Special Releases Collection pushes the boundaries of flavor maps, creating a vivid and fantastical collection of elusive expressions.
The Singleton of Glen Ord 2022 Special Release 15 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a mesmerizing malt, matured in refill American and European Oak, then double matured in wine-seasoned casks. The Singleton of Glen Ord is the only remaining single malt distillery on the Black Isle, where the whisky's magic lies in its decadently layered flavors. Dry overall, a vinous scent is backed by spicy, woody notes of oak shavings and beech, blended with tart, red berry fruit, and vanilla. A well-balanced ultra-smooth texture with the taste of barley-sugar sweet, and a pinch of salt turns pleasantly tart with hints of gooseberry and crisp grape. This rare spirit is medium-bodied with a silky-peppery finish that is lengthy and palate-drying. For an elegantly simple drink, serve in a whisky glass neat or with a little water for a drink that isn't as tart but still has a little spice. Includes one 108.4 proof 750 mL bottle of The Singleton of Glen Ord 2022 Special Release 15 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Please drink responsibly.
