The Glenrothes 50 Year Old Single Malt Whiskey - Main
The Glenrothes 50 Year Old Single Malt Whiskey

      Beyond the Label

Distilled in November 1968 and hidden for half a century in the seclusion of The Glenrothes Estate, spirit, wood and craft have worked together to form this remarkable milestone. The Glenrothes 50 Year Old is the first 50 Year Old and the oldest ever single malt to be released by The Glenrothes Distillery.

Dark, rich and refined, The Glenrothes 50 Year Old is a dramatic blend of aromas with layers of flavor complexity only a whisky of its age can deliver. The whisky is presented in individually numbered handmade faceted crystal decanters, each housed in an exquisite lacquered black presentation case.

Only 50 bottles of this single malt have been created, making it truly rare. Buyers with the privilege of sharing in this milestone release will be invited to The Glenrothes Highland Estate and Distillery, a rare and exclusive experience itself, as the secluded Estate, which includes the distillery, cooperage, private farms and Rothes House, is normally closed to visitors.
