Fully finished in first fill Pedro Ximenez Sherry and Troncais oak Cognac casks, this whisky brings indulgent richness to the iconic smooth and fruity style of The Glenlivet. Enticing flavors of sweet fig and blood orange deriving from the sherry influence are complemented by the Cognac casks’ warming notes of ginger, toasted oak and a hint of charred pineapple.
Using some of the rarest of our whiskies, all of which have been aged for at least 25 years, this is a batch-produced whisky finished in ex-sherry butts.
Dark chocolate with scents of dried sultanas on the nose.
The palate is silky and sweet with cinnamon notes, before an incredibly long, rich and balance finish.
