Saint Liberty Whiskey continues its celebration and honoring the untold stories of pioneering, Prohibition-era bootleggers, with our second bootlegger in the series, Josephine Doody. Josephine is still to this day known as the Bootleg lady of Glacier Park in Montana. We honor her with an exclusive lot of Straight Rye out of Tennessee, which is then perfected with the same pure Rocky Mountain water that she would have used 100 years ago.
Charred Wood. A very approachable and inviting nose with sweet notes of vanilla, lightly charred wood and grilled peaches.
Rich Spices. The palate is flooded with creamy spiced rye grains, cinnamon, allspice, cardamom and black pepper.
Earth Tones. There is a balance of rich soil, warm wet grass, leather and oak.
Sweet Notes. The finish is smooth and warm with hints of sweet vanilla, roasted marshmallow and honeysuckle.
There is an incredible balance of earthy, sweet, fruit and spice that will warm your body and have you wanting another.
