The wine is named for Olivier’s third daughter, Margot. Cuvée Margot is a blend of Pinot Noir grapes from vineyards across the Côte de Beaune, from Puligny-Montrachet to Pommard, the Côte de Nuits and old vineyards in les Hautes Côtes, totaling about twenty different plots. These blend together to create a bright, fresh expression of red Burgundy.
The wine is smooth and juicy packed with red cherry, strawberry, and raspberry fruits with fine tannins to maintain its structure. It is fresh and elegant on the palate.
