      La Adelita Cristalino

      Beyond the Label

A partnership of generational distillers, jimadors and cult wine artisans, together crafting a truly exquisite and pure selection of tequilas. In the honor of Adelita, the fearless women who fought in the Mexican Revolution, La Adelita is harvested and distilled on our Single Estates located in the heart of the highlands of Jalisco. Family-operated for generations, our Jimadores take great personal pride in producing only the highest quality 100% Blue Weber agave and each piña is only selected by hand when their practiced eye tells them it is time, 7 years on average. Carefully distilled in individual lots, in small Cuban copper pot stills, that were imported onto the Estate in the early 1920’s, La Adelita presents Blanco, Reposado, Añejo, Cristalino, and Extra Añejo, without compromise.

Aging: 18 months in second-use American Oak whiskey barrels. The barrels are re-toasted in Mexico, medium toast.

Process: Single barrels of añejo selected & filtered via a proprietary process to remove color maintaining the flavor profile.

      96 points.

      Tasting Notes

      Color

Crystal clear showing pronounced legs in the glass.

      Notes

This spirit offers up a salty, pulpy nose with additional aromas of cashew, anise, and oak. A sweetness highlights that first sip, sparked by white pepper and nectarine zest; semi-sweet peach nectar ensues, bringing on a velvety finish.
