A celebration of the Norse myth of Ragnarok - or re-birth - Highland Park Fire Edition is aged for 15 years in port-seasoned oak casks - a first for the distillery - offering a unique perspective on the legendary Highland Park spirit. Aromas of single origin chocolate and ripe plum mingle with deep oak spice and campfire smoke before reasserting similar flavors of berry custard, sweet vanilla, and a hint of smoked sea salt on the palate. The finish is satisfyingly rich and long. Highland Park Fire Edition was given the highest recommendation and five stars upon release. It was also awarded a Gold medal by the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. This increasingly rare whisky is a certified must-try if you get hold of one of the few remaining bottles.
