      Beyond the Label

      Born at the high elevations of Jalisco’s Highlands, Espanita Tequila Reposado is crafted from 100% Weber Blue Agave, hand-selected and harvested at the peak of its ripeness. Double distilled in small alembic stills, Espanita Reposado is aged in American Oak casks for up to six months to mellow the spirit and develop a harmonious balance between wood-derived notes of fragrant oak, toasted nuts, and vanilla and robust, earthy flavors of traditionally slow roasted Agave. Highly versatile, Espanita Tequila Reposado is a cocktail favorite and can also be enjoyed neat or on the rocks.       Tasting Notes

      Color

      Manzanilla Sherry-like golden yellow color.

      Nose

      Creamy, mildly succulent aromas of spiced butter, agave fibers, pecan, jasmine tea, crystallized ginger, vanilla butterscotch, and lime zest.

      Palate

      Entry is notably creamy. Velvety, vibrant, fruity medium body entices with flavors of candied banana, coconut cream, Muscat a Petit grains, walnut, and sweet tarragon.

      Finish

      Long finish edged with citrus peel and cinnamon sparks.

      Ingredients
      1.5 oz. Espanita Tequila Reposado
      0.75 oz. Orange flavored liqueurs such as Triple Sec
      0.75 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
      6 Small Fresh Mint Leaves
      0.5 oz. Simple Syrup
      2 Slices Fresh Pineapple (cut in 1-inch cubes)
      Steps
      1 In a cocktail shaker, lightly muddle fresh mint, pineapple cubes, simple syrup, and freshly pressed lime juice.
      2 Add Espanita Reposado Tequila, Triple Sec, and a handful of ice.
      3 Shake for 10 sec and strain through a fine mesh strainer into a cocktail glass filled with fresh ice.
      4 Add 4 dashes of Blood Orange Bitters and stir lightly.
