Domaine Faiveley Gevrey Chambertin Vieilles Vignes

Domaine Faiveley Gevrey Chambertin AC is sourced from multiple parcels spread throughout the appellation. It is produced from old vines that are over 35 years old and produce an exceptionally intense and aromatic wine that reflects the unique character of its terroir. With its deep, clear ruby red hue, it reveals notes of black fruits and excellent strength and concentration. As with all Gevrey-Chambertin, it requires a few years of patience before reaching its full potential.

2017 is a classic style of vintage that can also be enjoyed in its youth. The wines are smooth and round with discreet tannins and good sugar levels. Favourable climate conditions gave charm and generosity to the wines. These seductive wines are quite similar to the 2007 and 2011 vintages although with a more fleshy palate.
