Barton & Guestier Cotes du Rhone “Les Galets”, is a red wine made in France in the rhone region under the appellation Cotes du Rhone. The name “Les Galets” refers to small stones polished by the Rhone river that we find in mass in the soil of our parcels. The vineyards are located between Montélimar and Orange. It is therefore a wine from the southern Rhône Valley, powerful and warm. The Mediterranean brings a warmer, more stable climate with hot summers and mild winters, contributing to richer, brighter, higher alcohol wines. This red wine has an intense nose of flowers (violet) and black fruits (black cherry, blackcurrant) combined with peppery hints. Full on the palate with a nice fruity and spicy aftertaste. All these aromas are coming from his blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre.
Vegan Friendly, Woman winemaker.

Vintage Notes
In 2021, the region experienced a hot and dry growing season, which led to an earlier than usual harvest. This hot and dry weather can be challenging for grape growers, but in our case, it results in grapes with good concentration, sugar levels, and acidity.
