An initially thick and oily smoke structure reveals a sharper phenolic layer and a piercing burst of fruitiness. Ripe peaches and just a touch of oak.
Palate
Delicate ash, with a slight apple-core tartness. Leather and spicy vanilla linger at the back, accompanied by sharp notes of pink grapefruit and ripe orchard fruits.
Finish
Elegant and long. A kaleidoscope of spicy and peaty notes that die out with a juicy burst.

Named after the Rascan tool, used to break up the top level of rough ground and prepare the land for peat harvesting, anCnoc Rascan is a peated expression produced with a PPM of 11.1. The spirit is matured in American oak, ex-bourbon hogsheads. Natural color. Non-chill filtered. A distillery like no other, traditional production methods are used to craft a curiously modern Single Malt.
