Made by the Sea, Forged by Fire
Talisker 47-Year-Old Magma
Matured in refill American oak hogsheads, then finished in new American
oak casks toasted with 55-million-year-old volcanic basalt from Skye, Talisker pioneers
a world-first process that intensifies the oak’s warmth, deepening texture while
enhancing its signature balance of smoke, salt, and spice.

Tasting Notes
Appearance: Rich polished copper with bright amber tones and fine beading at natural
strength.
Nose: Mineral and maritime, led by wet rocks and dried seaweed, with sweet Scottish
toffee and soft smoke beneath. Sandalwood and subtle oak warmth build with time.
Palate: Creamy and silky in texture. Light sweetness gives way to mineral intensity and
warming spice, with Talisker’s signature chili-pepper heat unfolding steadily across the
tongue.
Finish: Long, warming and persistent, with glowing spice and lingering smoke.
