Description

The Avdiros Red is a special blend of Greece’s oldest variety, Limnio, and the rare Pamidi, along with Syrah. Syrah gives primary aromas of red fruits while Limnio, with a barrel pass for 8-12 months, gives pepper flavors alongs with cocoa and tobacco notes. The mellow mouthfeel is made up of soft tannins and moderate acidity. A wine full of pleasant finishing.

Origins

This wine is from the Thrace region of Greece. This wine is produced in the Protected Geographical Indication area of Avdira, a fishing village situated in the district of Xanthi in Thrace. It has a long tradition of winegrowing and winemaking and is the most active winegrowing area of Thrace today. Winery: Vourvoukeli Estate
