The creamy, yet sharp character of the cheddar mingles flawlessly with the rich, sherry sweetness of the GlenDronach 12-Year-Old . The complexity of both creates an upfront balance of flavor with a burst of spice on the finish.
The GlenDronach Original, Aged 12 Years
The GlenDronach 12 epitomizes our unyielding dedication to the mastery of our craft. Matured in fine Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks from Andalucía in Spain, this richly sherried Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky presents smooth vanilla, soft fruits and a memorably long, nutty finish, for which it has become renowned. This smooth scotch is bottled at 43%, non-chill filtered and natural in colour.
We are renowned as the masters of sherry cask maturation and The GlenDronach is a true Highland style. Recognized for deep color and rich flavour profiles, GlenDronach is perfect for long-term maturation in sherry casks ranging from sweet fruity flavours from the Pedro Ximenez casks to the dry and nutty notes from superb Oloroso casks.
The spirit stills have a unique saxophone shape and descending lyne arm allowing very little distillate to fall back, capturing a more robust spirit, resulting in a rich Highland style.
Our well-kept secrets have been guarded for nearly 200 years by a parliament of rooks who love GlenDronach so much they try to nest in the warehouses. The distillery folk believe as long as the rooks remain at the distillery, it will be good for the scotch whisky.
Best enjoyed neat or on the rocks.AWARDS
