Founded in 1960 in the fishing village of Macduff sheltered from the stormy winter winds behind the bluff of the headland, here we make our fine single malt whisky in this calm place.

Origins
With a classic, clean and functional design, the most intriguing part of the distillery is its still house with 5 stills and horizontal condensers. These help craft a rare coastal north eastern highland whisky, rich with flavours of apple pie, dried fruits and nuts and a warming finish. This is your archetypal fire side single malt.
