PATRÓN® Extra Añejo 10 Años

An extraordinary tequila that has been aging in ideal conditions in the barrel room at Hacienda Patrón for an impressive 10 years, Patrón Extra Añejo 10 Años is Patrón’s oldest release ever. A masterfully aged blend from American oak barrels and hybrid American/French Limousin barrels, this tequila has a bright, beautiful medium gold color, and smooth, sweet taste, with an aroma of intense vanilla, dry fruits and citrus.

Unlike other aged spirits, if tequila spends too much time in the barrel, it can lose its distinct agave flavor characteristics, and surrender considerable volume to evaporation (or “angel’s share”). For these reasons, they are complicated to craft and are extremely rare. But there are exceptions, as is the case with Patrón Extra Añejo 10 Años.
