A super-premium, small-batch spirit that is carefully crafted with a commitment to environmental sustainability and support for the local community, Mijenta’s Reposado is aged up to six months in a blend of American white oak, French oak, and French acacia casks. As with Mijenta’s Blanco, Mexico-based Maestra Tequilera Ana Maria Romero oversaw the entire creation process of the Reposado. Presenting a more mature and fuller expression with a long finish on the palate, the Reposado is best enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or as a nightcap cocktail, such as an Old Fashioned. It pairs well with dry fruit, soft cheeses, game meat, as well as flavorful Asian dishes. For dessert, Reposado is best savored with vanilla flavors, coconut, and semi-bitter chocolate.

A limited number of bottles will be available, with only 6,500 produced in the first batch.

Tasting Notes:
On the eye: Light golden hue, Bright and Transparent with a powerful body.
On the nose: A delicate and inviting vanilla nose with notes of bergamot, honey, preserved fruits and orange blossom flowers.
On the palate: Rich flavors of cooked agave, honey, vanilla with a mid-palate of cacao nibs. A long and generous finish on the palate.

Bottle Size: 750ml

Origins

Hey, no great story started with a glass of milk. Mijenta is shaped by craftsmen and jimadores, who passed along their ancient art, perfected their craft, and their love of story telling from one generation to the next. They will lean in closely, take another sip, and tell you tales of Aztek gods and 400 mischievous rabbits with a passion for good company, good spirits, good times. Designed by nature and crafted from the best possible ingredients, Mijenta uses fully mature, blue weber agave from the Highlands of Jalisco. Our Maestra Tequilera, Ana Maria Romero, one of the most respected and awarded tequila authorities in Mexico, chooses quality over speed, and perfected Mijenta's distinctive flavor profile through a meticulous slow process and traditional methods.
