
A lovely full-bodied red with ruby red color and bright violet reflections, intense bouquet with notes of cocoa, green spices, cloves, cinnamon, with wild berries and plum jam on the finish. The flavor is harmonious with dense, soft and mature tannins, balanced acidity and a lingering, moderately austere finish.

Sangiovese , Merlot and Sagrantino; pruning system: double spurred cordon; Sagrantino harvested in October, the other two in September
Vinification
Stainless steel fermentation with skin contact; 12 months of aging in barriques and 3000-litre casks. Bottle aging for 6 months

Stewed sweet-water fish, spit-roasted suckling pig, soup with spelt and legumes, stewed lamb, meatballs with thyme, grilled or sautéed porcini mushrooms.
