La Celia was the first winery in the Uco Valley, Mendoza, Argentina. It was born of a vision: to exchange the finest horse to produce the first malbec of this region. La Celia Elite, from Paraje Altamira in Uco Valley, has complex aromas where the red and juicy fruit stands out, with elegant floral contribution and fresh herbs.

Aging oak has given this wine an exquisite combination prevailing the fruit. In the mouth there is an austere entrance and great length. The tannins are soft and silky.

Origins

Pioneers are those who leave unique legacies. Eugenio Bustos was one of them. Eugenio Bustos arrived in the Uco Valley and planted the first Malbec from France, which he obtained as payment for the sale of his best horses. Thus was born in 1890 Finca La Celia, named after her daughter. La Celia expresses itself to the world with wines that enclose the charm of a tradition and the strength of a legacy.
