Inspired by and a tribute to Mexican culture, Espolòn tequila is named for the spur of the iconic rooster, a historic symbol of strength nobility and national pride. Espolon was established in 1998 as a tequila for the people.
Espolon Añejo is aged in American white oak casks for at least 12 months, then finished in heavily charred Wild Turkey bourbon barrels, taking on the rich, complex flavors of a whiskey.

Espolòn Anejo is medium to full bodied. It has subtle notes of caramel, vanilla, dried fruits, and even chocolate. Espolon Anejo is wonderfully balanced with velvety mouthfeel.
Espolon Anejo uses only hand harvested 100% Blue Weber agave and is produced in Los Altos de Jalisco, Mexico. It is slow-cooked in stainless steel autoclaves to ensure delcate extraction and preserve the agave character. The liquid is fermented for approximately three to four days to balance flavor. Esolon Anejo is aged in Char #2 New American Oak barrels for 12 months and finished in Char #4 Wild Turkey Bourbon barrels.
