Brugal Anejo is a premium dark rum that has been distilled not once, not twice but endlessly to produce the cleanest, smoothest spirit. This pure spirit is then aged for up to 5 years in American oak casks that previously held bourbon at Casa Brugal. There where the barrel houses are positioned north to south to make the most of the Dominican sun. Brugal Anejo welcomes you with rich aromas of vanilla, chocolate and cedarwood. - First, create a simple syrup by using one part warm water and one part muscavado sugar.
- Melt the sugar in the water, and then allow to chill.
- Now mix the Brugal Anejo, lime juice and syrup into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake, shake, shake.
- Strain into a chilled rocks glass or tumbler and finish with a wedge of lime to unleash the flavors. Salud!
