The perfect gift set for the champagne connoisseur!

PERRIER-JOUËT BLASON ROSÉ BRUT NV

Blason Rosé is the first Rosé champagne created by Perrier-Jouët. Its name derives from the ‘Blason de France’ range, created by the House in 1956. Blason Rosé is a subtle blend of 50 different vins clairs from the best parcels of the House’s vineyards.

Built on the model of the Grand Brut Non Vintage, which is driven by the intensity of the Chardonnays in the blend, Blason Rosé is enriched by the addition of red wines.

The elegance and finesse of the Chardonnays (25%), blend with the structure of the Pinot Noirs (50% including the added red wines) and the fruitiness of Pinot Meunier (25%) – a grape with which Perrier-Jouët has acquired specific expertise.

The cuvée ages for a minimum of three years in the cellars before a light dosage of 8 to 11 grams per litre is added depending on the year.

An addition of 12 to 15% of reserve wines creates the consistency required to balance the Perrier-Jouët style with the climatic effects of the year.

Bottle Size: 750ml

Notes of Scent & Flavor

  • Pink

A beautiful fresh salmon pink in colour.
  • Red Fruits

Pomegranate, red fruits, blood orange…. - intense fruity aromas dominate the nose, followed by subtle floral notes (honeysuckle). Finally hints of butter and brioche complete the harmony of the wine.
  • Rich & Complex

The attack is intense and lively. The wine is rich, with great length and character. The finish is complex and persistent.

“Blason Rosé is the gastronomic wine in the Perrier-Jouët collection, a specific blend the confers generosity and spontaneity.” - Hervé Deschamps, Cellar Master

Origins

Founded in 1811 by Pierre-Nicolas Perrier and Rose-Adélaïde Jouët in the heart of the Champagne region, the Perrier-Jouët House has gathered and looked after exceptional vineyards (classified 99,2% on the Crus scale) over the years with a preponderance of Chardonnay, perpetuating its expertise rooted in the region’s finest winemaking tradition. Hervé Deschamps, the current and 7th Cellar Master, perpetuates Perrier-Jouët's floral, stylish and dimond-cut distinctive style. The iconic Belle Epoque cuvée is the perfect expression of the Perrier-Jouët style and reflects the exceptional quality of the House's wineyard and know-how. Belle Epoque is enhanced by a remarkable bottle, specially designed for Perrier-Jouët in 1902 by French Art Nouveau artist Emile Gallé.
