Here aquafaba takes the place of egg whites to create a high vibe vegan version of a Margarita Sour. It is the liquid leftover from cooked chickpeas, and the easiest way to get it is to simply strain a can of chickpeas. You can shake it and whip it and it will react just like egg whites. It may seem complicated but it’s actually quite easy to make at home resulting in a light and slightly sweet cocktail with a creamy finish.

When shaken with organic tequila, lime juice and agave syrup you get a craft cocktail that embodies the One With Life Organic Tequila philosophy.

Ingredients

1 oz. Lime juice
1 oz. Aquafaba (garbanzo water/ chickpea water)
1 oz. Agave syrup
4 Dashes Bitters (we love a smokey floral essence here)

Recipe

  1. Add tequila, lime juice, agave syrup & aquafaba to a shaker.
  2. Cover and shake hard, shifting the fluid from the top to the bottom of the shaker.
  3. Strain into a glass over ice.
  4. Garnish with edible rose buds and dehydrated lime.
